NEW HERE?
Whether you have been to church your whole life or never before, it doesn’t matter because everyone is welcome along to experience the difference that knowing Jesus makes to life.
People of all ages, races and backgrounds are welcome at Bundoora Presbyterian. If you attend one of our Sunday Services you will find a diversity of people with one thing in common – we want to know God through His Son Jesus and to have a life-changing relationship with him.
You are welcome if you are exploring. Perhaps you have big questions about life or you’re a bit skeptical about Christianity, either way you are more than welcome to come and attend one of our Sunday Services to find out more. You are welcome if you’ve been to church before. Maybe you used to go to church and want to make a fresh start or you’ve moved into the area, you are very welcome to join us.
All newcomers are invited to our monthly Newcomer Nights which are a good way to understand what our church is about. You don’t have to be a follower of Jesus to attend one of these nights and we don’t assume any previous knowledge about Jesus.
WHO
Jesus is the most important person in history. Although he was the Son of God, Jesus was born in humble circumstances in a stable two thousand years ago. The gospel accounts in the Bible tell us that Jesus' public ministry demonstrated his authority in casting out demons, performing miracles, forgiving sins and teaching people about God's kingdom. Jesus also showed his love and compassion in being willing to associate with all people from the outcast to the elite.
WHAT
We know from the Bible that Jesus' mission was to walk the path of the cross. Jesus told his followers on numerous occassions that he had to suffer death on the cross in order to pay the price of the world's rebellion against God. But the Bible says that the death of Jesus is not the final word. Jesus was raised from death to show that his words can be trusted - that he really is the Son of God and that who he is and what he has done has real meaning for us.
WHY
Jesus said that he is the only way to God his Father. That it is only by trusting in Jesus as our Lord (the one we worship) and our Saviour (the one we trust) that we can come into a relationship with God and be forgiven. This is why we believe that knowing Jesus is good news for all. We invite you to find out what it means to know and trust in Jesus by contacting us. We can share with you from the Bible who Jesus is and why he is also important for you.

Bundoora Presbyterian welcomes new people every week. To help people connect and find out more we host Newcomer Events. These events are a great way to meet other newcomers, learn more about the church, ask questions and have some fun! You don’t have to be a follower of Jesus to attend one of these events, and we don’t assume any previous knowledge about Christianity.
