“Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me that whenever I open my mouth words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” (Ephesians 6:18-19)

As sinners forgiven through the death of Christ, we have no greater privilege than free and full access to the Father who sits on His throne of grace.  Jesus graciously calls us to bring our prayers of thanks, confession, intercession and supplication to the Father in His name.

At Bundy there are a number of ways to join with others in prayer.

Sunday services – corporate prayer

Every few weeks we have a time of corporate prayer during our Sunday services, with an ‘open mic’ so that anyone can pray in the company of the entire congregation, knowing that others are joining with you in interceding to the Father on your behalf.

Monthly prayer meetings

On the second Saturday of every month we host a prayer meeting from 8am to 9am at the church.  All are welcome to attend.  A time of fellowship can be enjoyed afterwards at a nearby café.

Prayer Network

A weekly email is sent out to all members of the BPC Prayer Network, containing recent requests for corporate prayer, as well as a number of long-term matters of concern to the congregation.

If you wish to join this Network or you wish to have a prayer request circulated to this Network, these can be communicated to us by either sending an email to or writing it on the green Welcome slips at one of our church services.

Prayer retreats

Once or twice a year we hold an overnight ‘prayer retreat’ where members of the congregation can escape to a place of tranquillity and spend some extended time in prayer with the Father, in the company of other believers.

Prayer within Growth Groups

Our Growth Groups are about building relationships with the Lord and each other.  One way we do that is by regularly setting aside time to pray with and for each other.

Prayer bookmarks

Matters of concern to the congregation are collated into a monthly Prayer Bookmark that is available at the church.  Members are encouraged to take the Bookmarks home and pray through the matters regularly.

Small Business prayer group

Every Friday morning a group of small-business owners gather for prayer support and mutual encouragement.  If you run your own business or are thinking of doing so and want prayer support, contact
